Camping in the Sequoia's

We spent Friday-Monday camping at Hume Lake. We went with Lara & Joe, who stayed until Sunday. It was beautiful. So many stars at night, hot days playing in the water and conversations on the meadow and around the campfire. I hadn't been to Hume in 9 years. It was really fun to see old stomping grounds and take Wallace on his first camping trip.

Wallace not taking his nap.

Up in the waterfalls.

bare booty on the beach.

We spent lots of time floating with Wallace in the middle of the lake.

a mix of things from last weeks post that i never posted

Here's a quick overview of Wallace's latest tricks.

In the month he has picked up the ever so classic "how big is wallace? soooo big!", giving kisses, pointing, high fives. His latest favorite thing is sitting by himself on the floor flipping through his books and pointing and babbling away to the pictures.

OK, he doesn't know how to do thumbs up yet, but happened to accidentally do it in this picture:

His latest favorite toy is this push thing below.

Last week I got together with the girls from my Spring Nurture Group. Here are the kids by the pool:

Here's a close-up of Wallace's teeth at the park. He just cut another one this weekend.

This weekend's camping pictures coming soon...

Colby's Birthday

Colby's birthday was last week and Saturday night was his party at the Joseph's house.

Rian and Colby were in the finals of the ping pong tournament. Colby won. I'm pretty sure Rian let him, as it was his bday. ;)

The Joseph's had an old friend staying with them. He is an Acupuncturist in Japan, so naturally, I had him stick some needles in my neck.

Old Vine Cafe

Rian and I met for lunch one day last week. Wallace kept busy eating the biggest cracker of his life.

The weekend...

it was good.

Wallace watching his dad make pancakes.

Wishing he was outside with Oliver.

HAPPY JUNE!
My resolution this month is to only check email once (1 time!) a day, each morning. I'm also only reading blogs and updating ours on Mondays. I guess I'll see you guys later (that's from Gardenstate).

On the lake

Saturday night us girls got together to celebrate some birthdays.

Another day on the yacht

We took Lauren and Brian out on our boat Sunday while my parents walked around Balboa Island with Wallace. We met at the gas dock while we filled up (that takes about 30 seconds) and stocked up on treats.

The Jones-Kennedy Neighborly Monthly Dinner

I know, it's a good name. A new tradition we're doing with our friends who live a couple minutes away, both of us in Santa Ana. This month it was at the Jones' house.
