Thursdays

Juliana and I have been getting Liv and Wallace together every week. Today we walked to and from the Balboa/Newport Pier. Here they are sleeping through our lunch at Ruby's. I love the bottom one of Wallace with his arm around Liv. He did it himself. Just kidding.

Babysitters

Rian and I got to babysit the Reid kids this weekend. They are so sweet and well behaved! We had so much fun. It was a little preview of how life would be with 3 kids. Wow. Here are some pics of our adventure to the park.

Back on the boat

Rian and I left Wallace with the babysitters (aka- the grandparents) and we took the boat out. Ahhh, I've missed being out on the bay. We had such a fun time together. Meanwhile... Wallace was showing off his smiles and cuteness to my parents.

Look at those dimples!!

He likes to dance when he's put in the carseat.

The Chunker

Here is Rian and Wallace playing on our bed. We were getting ready to leave for Happy Hour dinner but got distracted with Wallace's huge smiles and talking. We spent most of the dinner hour (at home) staring and laughing at him. Needless to say, we missed Happy Hour.

Today was his first shots and 8 week check-up. First of all, I can NOT believe that he is 8 weeks old. He weighed in at 9 lbs 10 oz!! He also grew over 3 inches. I'm so proud of him! We had a great day together and he had no reaction to his shots. We went shopping, took long naps, ate a lot (Him, not me. I don't have time for that anymore) and just relaxed.

Wallace and Liv

Here's the first play session. They spent most of the time bumping each other and crying. They're not too coordinated yet, but they are very very cute together!

Paradise Point

Wallace took his first vacation! This is our annual Wallace Family Trip ("Wallace" being my dad's side of the family). We go to Mission Bay in San Diego and stay at Paradise Point. Wally did great. He loves being held by everyone which gave Rian and I some free time. This weekend is one of our yearly highlights. We love being with my cousins, aunts and uncles and just getting caught up with everyone. We spend much of our time in the water and at the Barefoot Bar. :)

Finally!

The heat is gone and it was beautiful last night! It was so cool out and clouds were floating over from the beach. Rian, Wallace, Gypsy and I took a long stroll around our park.

Happy Labor Day!

We spent most of Labor day weekend in water. What else do you do when it's 150 degrees outside. It may have not been that hot... but it was HOT. Wallace did some laps around my parents pool (with some assistance) and Monday we spent the day at the Reids pool. We had a great weekend with our little fish!

That's "baby" Dahlia!

Liv Eleanor Hilmerson

She's finally here!!! Wallace is so excited... his friend he's been waiting for. :)
Liv was born September 1st at 2:22pm to Juliana & Kurt Hilmerson. She weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and is 20.5 inches long. She is absolutely adorable! Check out those cheeks!

The Welcome Party

Brian and Beth Jones are one of the most hospitable couples we know. They love to have a good party. Last night they threw a "Welcome Party" to welcome Chris back from his solitude trip, Colby back from his surf trip, and Wallace into the world. Wallace loved every minute and enjoyed being in the arms of our friends who love him and have been waiting for him. Brian and Beth had all of us end the night in prayer, thanking God for the boys and the experiences on the trips and thanking God for Wallace. We love these friends.

Here are a few of Wallace's first visitors in the early weeks.
